In this class, you will make a face grain cutting board that is both functional and decorative. Students will learn basic woodworking fundamentals, as well as how to dimensionalize, glue up, flatten, sand, and finish wood.
Learn how to use a lathe by employing tools and techniques to turn a wood pen. Must be 18 years of age to attend. Class fee covers material to make 2 pens. Turning pens is a lot of fun and they make great gifts! Class Refund Policy: No Refunds or Cancellations/Reschedules within 7 days of Class date.
Just getting started in woodworking or interested in improving your woodworking skills? This foundation course introduces you to the wonderful world of woodworking. In this two day hands-on class you will construct a small wall shelf with a drawer and two shelves using basic joinery techniques. You will also gain experience in how to safely use a miter saw, table saw, bandsaw, jointer, planer, router table and sanders.
